After years of freelancing, I decided to start my own company, BTC Photography. While contracted by other studios. my first contact with the client would be the day of the event or a few days before. The importance of interaction between a client and a photographer prior to an event was always overlooked. It boggled my mind how so many couples would book large studios to shoot their weddings. They blindly trusted sales people who worked solely on commission and rarely asked to speak with the photographer. There was never proof or guarantee that the photographs they were seeing were taken by the same photographer booked to shoot their wedding. Unfortunately, by the time they received the proofs and realized the difference, it was too late.

Whether I am in a portrait session or at an event, I take my time to be creative. Most importantly, I pride myself on capturing the essence of my subject. It is important to me that everyone I photograph is comfortable with me, and trusts my creative instict. Before the shoot, I like to speak with my clients thoroughly. We discuss what types of pictures they want, and work closely on ensuring that their expectations are exceeded. I understand the time and effort that goes into your special day, and the importance of great pictures. Please keep in mind that you only get one chance to capture those timeless moments. BTC Photography is located in the New York Metro Area. Most of the weddings and corporate events we shoot are in the Tri-State Area, however, we are not limited to the East Coast. Some of our corporate clients incude the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, TBWA Chiat/Day and YPO.
